Giovanna Holden, Attorney at Law

Giovanna Holden focuses her practice in immigration law and criminal defense. She has represented hundreds of individuals in front of the Executive Office of Immigration Review (Immigration Court) and the Board of Immigration Appeals, fighting to acquire the best results possible for each of her clients. She is a passionate advocate for the rights of immigrants and those accused of crimes. 
Giovanna Holden has been admitted as expert witness on several state cases, helping judges and juries understand the complexities of immigration law and the impact of criminal convictions on immigration status. She also aids criminal defenses attorneys in successfully crafting results in criminal matters that protect the immigration status of their clients. 
Giovanna Holden graduated with honors from the prestigious Emory University School of Law in Atlanta. While at Emory, Giovanna competed in Moot Court competitions and was a member of the exclusive Emory Moot Court Society. She was a member of the Lamar Inn of Court and the Latin American Students Association. Her work with the underprivileged gained her the Pro Bono Publico recognition. She completed her Bachelors in Science in Conflict Resolution at Brenau University, where she graduated magna cum laude with the highest honors and competed in mock trial competitions. 
Before becoming an attorney, Giovanna was a certified mediator. She has also clerked for federal and state judges and volunteered for the local Public Defender's Office under the Third-Year Practice Act. 
Giovanna Holden is a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia. She has been admitted for practice by the Supreme Court of Georgia and the United States District Court of Northern Georgia. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. 
As a native of Colombia, Giovanna speaks fluent Spanish.
